4. Assessments and Reports
- Free Basic Assessment: Includes a verbal estimate and a limited 30-minute walkthrough. This does not constitute a technical safety audit.
- Full Technical Written Report: A paid service providing detailed topographical risk mapping. Fees paid for this report are non-refundable but may be credited toward subsequent projects as specified in your individual contract.
5. Funding and Grants
While we assist clients in navigating and applying for government assistance programs (such as NRCS cost-share or ODF grants), we do not guarantee that any application will be approved or funded. All funding decisions are made by the respective government agencies.
6. Scheduling and Fire Season
Because our crew consists of trained wildland fire professionals, our schedule may be subject to change during active federal or state fire incidents. We reserve the right to prioritize emergency deployments. In such cases, we will communicate clearly with you regarding any delays in fuels reduction projects.
7. Burn Pile Coordination
If you hire us for Burn Pile Coordination, you agree to provide access to your property and follow all instructions regarding pile safety. We operate strictly within Lane County and ODF burn windows. We are not responsible for fires ignited by clients outside of our supervised coordination.
8. Crew Gear (E-commerce)
- Returns: We accept returns on unworn gear in original condition within 30 days.
- Liability: Our gear is intended for workwear and casual use. While durable, it is not “fire-rated” (PPE) unless explicitly stated in the product description.
