FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Volunteer & Career Opportunities Questions

We are always looking for passionate and skilled individuals to join our team! You can express your interest by visiting our “Get Involved” page (or a dedicated section you create) and filling out our volunteer inquiry form. We welcome a range of skills, from licensed electricians to administrative support.

Our primary need is for licensed electricians and apprentices who can assist with on-site electrical work. However, we also have opportunities for volunteers to help with administrative tasks, fundraising, community outreach, grant writing, and event support. We strive to match your skills and interests with our needs.

Not for all roles! While licensed electricians are crucial for our core services, individuals with other skills in administration, marketing, event planning, or general support can also make a significant difference. Please indicate your skills on your volunteer inquiry form.

Occasionally, we may have paid positions available as our organization grows. Any open career opportunities will be posted on our “Careers” page and relevant job boards. Please check these resources regularly for updates.

For volunteers, after submitting an inquiry form, our volunteer coordinator will contact you to discuss available roles and next steps, which may include a brief interview and background check. For career positions, please follow the application instructions provided in each specific job posting.

The time commitment varies greatly depending on the role. Some opportunities might be project-based or for specific events, while others could involve a more regular commitment. We work with our volunteers to find a schedule that fits both their availability and our organizational needs.
